With the Hawk 200 having a GRB BR of 10.7, can we expect to see an aircraft that has guided weaponry at GRB BR 9.7-10.0? It would be desirable to have such an aircraft at that BR, much like the squadron Hunter F.58 for Germany. Britain does not currently have any aircraft with guided weaponry below the GRB BR of 10.3
pretty sure the Hunter F.58 was our only real option since most would have to good of A2A weapons or be to fast
Trailed vehicles are always possible. But are generally rare and not a common occurrence.
But currently to speak of there are no plans for a trialed Gripen.
Hey. We are always looking for gap fillers. On the whole, Britain has no shortage of CAS around 9.7 and the Hawk 200 was aimed at filling the more popular 10.7 role.
However perhaps in the future.
I could kinda understand the E if gaijin were looking to give everyone an ESA armed aircraft but why would they get or even need a C?

I’m just thinking of future options for Germany since at the moment I believe it is tied for the smallest rank 8 air in the game, and there aren’t any more aircraft that can be added except for maybe a Eurofighter with IRIS-T and Meteor.
It only has TV guided stuff right? That will probably the “official” reason (not saying I agree with it or not).

One is an aircraft that was in service and the other is trialed and aircraft that were cancelled of procurement
I think his point is that trialed aircraft are usually only added if really needed
