IRL yes I doubt it’d be a slight step up, but the question is what information the developers will have at the time of its implementation, and if there’s little to no official sources paired with the missile having very similar dimensions to the PL-12, then it makes one wonder if PL-15 would suffer the same fate as the AIM-120C.
Is there official info about it being dual pulse?

This is literally the first article off of google. Not exactly a primary source, but i’m not the only one who seems to think the range is longer.
