Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

its been fired. so it can come in game

gripen e has plenty of loadout options

No really surprising given that the MICA IR is just a MICA EM with a different seeker head. So they basically have a Gen 5 IR missile already, but it has an ARH seeker stead of IIR

yeah but the problem would be that the IRIS-T is modeled very badly. The model is already ingame (rb98) and it gets flared very easily

wont happen, not enough data yet. only cause it has been fired once doesnt make it an instand addition

Doubt most of these come, they’re just proposed export options, not ones that have actually been integrated

here it is, ir version

Spoiler

u are being a quickshot like noel

it will still come the moment we get next next gen missiles, like metor and such

unlikely

but its actually been fired. thai gripen e doesnt exist yet, mica ir ng does
cough kh38mt, or sraam cough
mica ir ng meets standards for being added.

doesnt mean its combat ready yet and gets added instantly.

Its gajin, they gonna give rafales the meteor, mica iir, and call it a day

would fair, the non highlited are the weapons that it already has, and the highlighted are yet to be integrated

So it will get meteor, a darter, iris t and amraam eventually.

Loadout is always gaijins discretion. Otherwise the Typhoons would have FnF Brimstone 2s to compete with AASM and KH-38MTs and not SAL Brimstone 1s.

Given the Rafale currently uses Meteor, it would likely get Meteor when they add Meteor to compete with Typhoon and Gripens equipped with Meteor.

MICA EM is already too OP, replacing it with the MICA NG just wouldnt be fun

they could have atleast given us SAL Brimstone 2’s

yeah, i was confusioned

@Smin1080p_WT Is there anything being planned for proper guidance mode changing for air to ground weapons? Weapons with both IR and GNSS guidance currently cannot utilise GNSS because there is no way to fire it using GNSS only. We already have something similar in use with some SPAA’s where you can swap the guidance mode of the missile like on the Strelas.

Would also be beneficial for other weapons with multiple guidance modes like AGM-179 being able to use both SAL and IR whenever needed and not locked to each mode.
