Well it should be reduced to 8.3 on the grounds of not having a missile, plus it’s heavier and worse than the normal BMP-2 (without addon armour)
Hm. The worse BMP 2 that needs to be flat on with tanks to hurt them and can be 50 called through the turret compared to thr one with the missile launcher which cant be penned is Over BR’D?

And yes you’re stuck with only 1 belt of apds at which point you’re again no better than the Soviet one minus the Thermals. Now i may also need to remind you in a uptier you run into BMD’s and BMP-3’s which do everything you do but better
I think it definitely requires more braincells to use than your average BMP but thats not saying much. Again not having the missile makes you a vastly inferior light tank and without the armor and speed you’re a worse XM800T

Also @Apollo_1641 and @I_MiikaL_I i noticed they moved the wire cutter on the turret down, if you look in my photos its standing up but in game its now pointed down. Just a weird thing to change.

I mean statshark says its bad, but tbf i do good in some bad vehicles and poorly in great vehicles, just how it goes.
I think it might be due to how popular light vehicles are at those BRs. They expect to use their HEAT-FS rat tanks to bully heavies/MBTs but are instead bullied back by a high RoF stabilized autocannon, the perfect hard counter.
Honestly i just force my friend to play Russia and then magically i have no problems as most tanks dont have 70mm side armor.
Easiest fix ever, just have Russia on your team for most BR’s and its easy wins. When grinding Japan with the Type 87 RCV, fighting Germany in the 8.x bracket was the best way to play as they have no armored Tanks which gaijin really needs to fill up imo especially after nuking the 8.7 lineup
Sweden 8.7 imo is just too map dependent to be fun, you have a slow centurion. A mid TD that cant use its gun for anything, a map dependent sniper LT with no stab. The best IFV/SPAA until 9.7 and the worst BMP in warthunder.
Not really a lineup worth grinding so i couldn’t recommend the BMP-2MD to anyone unless i wanna see them suffer lol.
Do you mean no tanks in general, or just no tanks that have side armor? If it’s the latter then the only thing that comes to mind is more M47/M48
Panzer 68, T55, ect ect give them the vehicles they used historically.
Hell even Finland could add another 2 T55’s to the swedish lineup and one of them would be shared with Germany as both used the T55AM-1 which yes is 9.0 now but honestly a better tank than the Leo A1A1 imo.

A lot of them are ones i find interesting or gap fillers but most would add some originality to the tree. I could keep going but id really like new SPAA for the BR’s and an actual 5.x aircraft everything else is kinda niche but cool stuffs i want.

Hopefully to fill tech tree BR gaps, but the temptation to make it premium is probably too much.
I do think we could see the Elevated Tow System but it’d have to be in a gimped form. Having a launcher with 4x ready TOWs would be cool even if the turret could only extend a little bit (or not at all). Wouldn’t be the first time, as the RCV P has a commander periscope that only raises like 1/3rd of the way.
I love both of these, they could further bolster the 8.0 and 7.7 lineups. I want the NM116 so badly I’d buy it even if it was premium.
A lot of nations could get some kind of car/utility vehicle with ATGM/MANPAD, it’s an untapped market. We already got the HUMVEE model in game. It’d be so fun to scoot around in these.
One thing I’d add is one of the funny 90mm recoilless cars with the ridiculous names. Let me look it up again.
