usually sub need further connection than just “have good relations recently”
but I can understand, it’s the Israel, you can’t get other “further connection”
This week on, we cant be bothered to look at bug reports and so another nation gets a Leopard 2.
One thing for sure after Gaijin introduced Israel with the minimum amount of original vehicles, people were bored with nations and demanded sub trees like SA, they can bring original vehicles and both fill gaps.
The result is Leopards in French tree, so Gaijin are now back to independent trees with Korea.
Korea was my secondary guess, but as it is a good block for US to have a sub tree, I welcome its addition. No top 3 nations should ever have a sub tree.
I just read the news. Why give Greece to Israel instead of making a Greco-Iberian TT? I bet there were quite a few other options to add as subtrees for Israel…
The gameplay variety is just going to be more Leopards?
I think, at the bare minimum, the US and USSR/RU trees don’t need sub trees. They have more domestic vehicles that could be added than anybody else and no real gaps to speak of.
Germany is considered one of the “big 3” but I think it getting a subtree does make sense as it has some gaps, especially in the higher tiers of the air tree.
@Smin1080p_WT given China is getting a new SPAA care to mention if any of the other terrible SPAA nation will get something?
Because Greco-Iberian TT doesn’t solve the inherent problem of the lack of an AESA radar 4th gen for Israel*.
Imagine taking the CLAWS and tweak it into a NASAMS HML. Ah, the workload!
I don’t really know anything about planes, I’m talking from a ground perspective. Besides trying to make every single nation have the same capabilities might be a bit hard.
Poland can stand alone and strong, and if they need support I’m sure a co-tech tree with Czeckoslovakia could be arranged
Because Israel need gaps filling by a country with a strong military, that being greece for MBTs, AFVs and Aircraft, and Cyprus for variety and SAMs.
Doesn’t get any better with spain bro, Leopard 2HEL and Leopard 2E are practically identical
I’m rather annoyed we are getting yet another half nation, Israel is about to be swarmed by sub trees after what 3 years and before that just gotten really good recent additions so I’m a bit upset that they chosen yet another rank 4 starter nation
If I may ask, what relation do those countries have with Israel? I may not be aware.
Yeah but one would make its own TT to bring more variety (and lots of interesting vehicles in lower tiers) instead of becoming a lame subtree of a poorly implemented nation. Look at Korea for example. I believe it’s an interesting addition but it’s all basically going to be C&P till more modern vehicles drop (like China/Israel). I don’t see why some really interesting nations are gatekept while others are implemented.
Btw Spain-Portugal could fill a full TT in ground, sea and air altogether, unlike some other nations already in game.
That would have made for a quite interesting Top Tier lineup, though.
At least two 2E variants and a 2HEL one- Sweden, but better.
I guess 2HEL will help Israel a bit, the same way 2A7HU helped Italy, though!
What is more interesting is if israel has more subtree vehicles at some ranks than own vehicles. Some tree should be renamed tbh. Sweden → Nordic tree, Germany → DACH tree, Israel → ?eastern mediterianian see tree? (didnt know something better)
Could use the 2A4, 2E (2A6 with more armour) and the 2E Tortuga. Tho I believe the Ministry of Defence has shown plans of modernizing the current 2E with cage armor, if we don’t put the 2A8 into service (which I doubt).
I somewhat agree with this. Nation-TTs made sense before, but it’s all just a cluster of vehicles and nations now, may aswell get rid of national trees altogether (which would also help get rid of some drama).
@Smin1080p_WT may I ask how the PT-16/T14 mod is doing at 11.0 (According to Statistic) with no TVD and only DM23?
