Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

That was probably a mistake on my part

It doesn’t help that they keep making the possible additions (by themselves or with a small group of 1-3 nations) into a sub-tree because Gaijin doesn’t want to do research or model the unique vehicles.

Korean tree has been confirmed!! I can’t wait for all the North Korean nonsense we’re gonna get

Why is that a struggle though? The new nations have filled a lot of gaps in Japan’s lineup and it sounds like they will continue to do so.

That I can agree with. Everything from here on out will have to be coalitions of multiple nations, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Because of the language they used for different vehicles in the blog and also where it is positioned in the blog.

For some vehicles they stated that they’re happy to announce it for the upcoming update. For the Chinese toptier aircraft, they state it is planned in the short term.

Spoiler

Also this part came before THIS part

So the mentions of Chinese vehicles was not a preview of the major update.

Greece and recognised* Cyprus have good relations recently.

No direct CVRT teasers in the CMD ;-;

I suffer:tm:

im late but FINALLY DOMESTIC VEHICLES

If we only went by that section the next update would only have like 4 vehicles in total.

They’ve never really teased/revealed more than a few vehicles in the update per CM

usually sub need further connection than just “have good relations recently”
but I can understand, it’s the Israel, you can’t get other “further connection”

@Smin1080p_WT Will there be an option to opt out of the new automated Naval damage control?

This week on, we cant be bothered to look at bug reports and so another nation gets a Leopard 2.

@Smin1080p_WT will we be seeing some of those AESA planes talked about last CM notes?

One thing for sure after Gaijin introduced Israel with the minimum amount of original vehicles, people were bored with nations and demanded sub trees like SA, they can bring original vehicles and both fill gaps.

The result is Leopards in French tree, so Gaijin are now back to independent trees with Korea.

Korea was my secondary guess, but as it is a good block for US to have a sub tree, I welcome its addition. No top 3 nations should ever have a sub tree.

I just read the news. Why give Greece to Israel instead of making a Greco-Iberian TT? I bet there were quite a few other options to add as subtrees for Israel…

The gameplay variety is just going to be more Leopards?

I think, at the bare minimum, the US and USSR/RU trees don’t need sub trees. They have more domestic vehicles that could be added than anybody else and no real gaps to speak of.

Germany is considered one of the “big 3” but I think it getting a subtree does make sense as it has some gaps, especially in the higher tiers of the air tree.

@Smin1080p_WT given China is getting a new SPAA care to mention if any of the other terrible SPAA nation will get something?

Because Greco-Iberian TT doesn’t solve the inherent problem of the lack of an AESA radar 4th gen for Israel*.
