i get your point , but i still feel like IIR missiles may be too op for now , i think we will get them at some point just like modern fox3s. but i think they may conduct a playtest for IIR missiles.

we do not need 8x mica ir ng with 100km range brotha. dual pulse too, those things will utterly ruin the game. even normal mica ir is gonna be so annoying, congrats rafale has a untouchable death bubble around 15km of it
they dont model proper IIR
they just have gadewith and supension IRCCM on the missiles

closes analogue to normal mica ir is probably asraam blk 6 if it has datalink (not sure on this) or r-74m2 (has all the same features as mica ir and pretty much the same range but without a imaging seekerhead). mica ir ng just blows every missile thats not a modernized r27et out of the water (and even then, r27et is limited to lobl)
