You asked me a question and I’ve answered it what’s odd about that
Regarding this. Purely business there are more positives than negatives to sub trees.
-
The tree that gets a sub tree gets help at certain BRs to make lineups and close gaps.
-
Being a sub tree means that all vehicles of that nation go to one place, meaning that people from that nation will be more inclined to either buy premium or spend time playing the game.
Sub trees only become problematic in more extreme cases, like a couple of mains from a certain used-to-be empire that want like 5 sub trees. Only because these mains want to have their cake and eat it too.
However even in some of these extreme cases compromises can be made.
To be clear, I didn’t say that subtrees are bad or unnecessary.
Uniqueness. That’s what I want as a player.
Adding unique vehicles is a compromise.
Have to mention, that there isn’t always a suitable unique vehicle to add to the line
Just buy premiums if you want to play specific vehicles.
Pay-to-avoid-boredom game?
If you think its boring just dont play. Simple
I have a lot to say about this type of thinking, but it’s off topic
Good morning, anything interesting?
Nah, just sand and wind. Maybe a devblog in 4-5 hours.
Devblog, I’m sure
Do you have any idea how little that narrows it down?
I’d say Britain, China and Japan come to mind mainly, but in rare cases I’ve seen this from others too. Russia could’ve easily made the list too but their empire usually isn’t the given reason, USSR / Warsaw pact is.
I mean we gonna literally have an export/Commonwealth line in ground soon, kinda wondering why they said Commonwealth than just south Africa
“and for the convenience and order when adding various ground vehicles from Great Britain and Commonwealth countries in the future.”
“After the changes, the MBT line after the Vickers Mk.1 will focus on Commonwealth tanks and export MBTs.”
since F/A-18E is rumored to come soon, y’know what else should come as well to fit the theme?
MiG-29K/KR
Probably because there’s also India and sometimes Australia and Canada already. But who knows what this could mean in the future
Now phase 2:
Gambian Su-25 to UK
Israeli trialed Mig-29
South Korean T-80U to USA
IJN Nagato to USA
F-5 to USSR
(Obligatory/j)
My main concern is top tier. I don’t like a single tree having a Challenger 2, M1A1, M1A2 and Leopard 2A6.
However there are compromises to be made. Iirc Smin said a while back: “Just because nation X is a sub tree doesn’t mean all their vehicles will be added”. I think it was a comment regarding the Indian Rafale or Su-30.
I’m fine with all commonwealth vehicles at any other BRs being added to Britain.
I think they are just making room for exported MBT’s like the one Jordan tank and when Indian tanks finally come
