Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

I mean we gonna literally have an export/Commonwealth line in ground soon, kinda wondering why they said Commonwealth than just south Africa

“and for the convenience and order when adding various ground vehicles from Great Britain and Commonwealth countries in the future.”

“After the changes, the MBT line after the Vickers Mk.1 will focus on Commonwealth tanks and export MBTs.”

since F/A-18E is rumored to come soon, y’know what else should come as well to fit the theme?

MiG-29K/KR

Probably because there’s also India and sometimes Australia and Canada already. But who knows what this could mean in the future

Now phase 2:

My main concern is top tier. I don’t like a single tree having a Challenger 2, M1A1, M1A2 and Leopard 2A6.

However there are compromises to be made. Iirc Smin said a while back: “Just because nation X is a sub tree doesn’t mean all their vehicles will be added”. I think it was a comment regarding the Indian Rafale or Su-30.

I’m fine with all commonwealth vehicles at any other BRs being added to Britain.

I think they are just making room for exported MBT’s like the one Jordan tank and when Indian tanks finally come

On the note of the commonwealth subtree that may or may not be a thing.

I’d like it for Gaijin to do their utmost to ensure these are relatively unique where possible additions or are needed for gaps in the tree/variety.

So no T-72M1 type scenario where it’s a C&P. As a counter-example the Indian SU-30MKI with ASTRA’s now there’s some unique modification and some variety, as a Su-30SM C&P however, nah.

I think gaijin hold some op aircraft for December update to show up and make a fuss like December 2024 update with rafale and typhoon. I think the F/A 18 E/F goes this update. But with this words " aircraft thats sting " i am little confused for what aircraft can be in this update. Some countries needs a aircraft with 14.0 BR like Japan and china the dont have some

In b4 either Australian or Canadian F/A-18A prem for Britain

But not only that but Britain also hasn’t gotten a top tier jet yet since the Typhoon which will be almost 9 months without anything new in the tt.

Where the US got three Hornets and Germany got two kinda unfair

Imagine getting the Canadian RAM I and a Hornet in one update

There is also F-15J(JSI) with same avionics as F-15EX

You have right but if gaijin start to close tech trees with 4,5 gen aircrafts japan and china want somes

I mean quality and quantity. Britain got the Typhoon which is a really really good aircraft (quality) while the US got 3 Hornets that, as everyone either already knew or found out, are just mid and boring (quantity). (Also something something mostly C&P work).

Now why Germany got both the EFT and Hornet? Well the German mains couldn’t grasp that the Hornet was mid and kept asking for it. So they learned it the hard way.

Wasn’t the Swiss line because Germany didn’t really have anything after the IL-28, so it was more of a pity add than anything?

I’m still not sure. The German mains have been asking for the Swiss Hornet for a long time now.

I don’t think most of them cared much about the other Swiss vehicles in the past, they just wanted that Hornet.

I wonder what Switzerland is planning to buy, from what I understand they are kinda stepping back from the F-35 deal.

So maybe the “end of the line” jet for the subtree might change from what we expected.

Careful now, people seem to get real uppity when you mention how the SU-30MKI had a lot of Indian involvement in its development and uses a lot of domestic and Israeli developed weapon systems, claim its a copy-paste (even though its more unique then the Mig 29 sniper and was actually first chronologically vs the plane people compare it to) and should go to Russia still ;)

Would still be fine, its akin to the squadron T90, people dont know the history and just for some reason assume India could never ever develop something or put forward its own requirements causing a highly modified vehicle to exist.
