i’da thought here, maybe a folder with the Matilda II, or Matilda and Churchill foldered

I know but

and blog have been changed to

a little confused

Eh i guess not that it will happen

I personally thought it’d make sense to place between the Crusaders and the Cromwells tbh.

Crusader II is 2.7, and Cromwell V is 3.3, I can see the Ram I being 3.0, and the other thing is that all 3 of them are Cruiser vehicles.

I saw someone else suggest to folder it with the Sherman II.

I would say that having it with the Matilda is eh due to that specific rank/line or so being Heavy Tanks (idk what’s going on with the Valentine’s), but who knows with Gaijin logic lol

at those ranks the left line is the Cruisers and the Right line is the Infantry tanks, unless the Ram gets foldered with the Sherman it wouldn’t fit in the left line (max height is 3)

imo it fits more in the Infantry line because of the 2pdrs of that line, while also making more sense for the Matilda II and Churchill to be foldered, both being played as mobile pillboxes allowing them to go together, (and if its 3.0 or so, opens the line for a 75mm Grizzly at 3.3 or something like M4A1, though that’d likely be better foldered under the Sherman II due to their extreme similarity)

In addition to the fact that the 2nd line has been designated the Commomwealth/export line (yes i know it said rank 6+ but it can still apply as precedent)

Nice, this thing will surely be nice for my collection

@Smin1080p_WT Hello, is the new UK Ground tree rearrangement intended to come for other tech trees that also have subtrees in them? or there’s no future intention to modify other tech trees in this way? thanks a lot!

two blogs and no leek? Oh yeah, it’s War Thundover.

There was a leak, it told us to be ready for todays blog ^^

Right now for this major update, its just the UK tree. We dont have any other planned changes to speak of for other nations currently.

Hey Smin, how come the Challenger 2E isn’t moving? It’s the export model so surely it should finish the line of the export tanks

It belongs best with the rest of the Challengers. Part of the reshuffle was allowing future potential.

But it’s an export tank - does the m1a1HC not belong with the other abrams tanks?

The American tree structure isn’t relevant here. The Challenger 2E has its place with the other challengers.

As already mentioned, the changes allow future potential for the export / commonwealth line. Moving the Challenger 2E there doesn’t achieve anything and prevents that future possibility when it already has a suitable place.

Why does it prevent future possibilities? It’s the export line, why is an export tank not going there? Not only that but the american tree structure is entire relevant as this shows a lack of consistency throughout trees. Why does moving the challenger 2E to the line it should have already been it prevent other vehicles from being added to it?

Looks like you’re brewing some new Commonwealth vehicles to boost UK performance soon(ish) :D

Because as the first point its not just the export line:

Secondly, it has its place already with the current Challengers. There is no reason for it to move over. These are general themes for the line and not hard rules. The US tree has entirely different categories and configurations to it. So the comparison has no meaning.

There are future plans for the British tree that was the primary reason for this reshuffle.

Tbh nation trees are always differs from each others. The only consistent lane in all of them is the SPAA one

@Smin1080p_WT Being Australia part of the Commonwealth has there been any considerations for moving the M1A1 AIM from US to UK eventually? or is the Abrams intended to stay with US tech tree forever?

That is terrible reasoning. It’s commonwealth and export, meaning both types. The Challenger 2E fits this, so why not move it? it’s not just a commonwealth line
