Yeah British tree was a hot mess. Export/CMW tanks and lighter stuff being shuffled into their own lines makes sense.

Should make future placement of vehicles easier. Let’s take the Arjun (MBT) and Zorawar (LT) as examples as India is already a British sub tree.
Currently you could place either or both of them in either the Vickers Mk.7 line or the SA line as both these lines contain light tanks and MBTs. Now it’s much more straight forward. I really like this change.

India is like Romania, BeNeLux and Finland - the unique ones as event, battlepass and premium. With C&P in the TT, with the exception of 1 or 2 vehicles, if they are lucky.

Yeah, after thinking about it for a while, it’s a big improvement to before.
The only real negative is that it removes a certain national identity, but that was already questionable for subtrees before so I don’t think it’s all that bad in comparison.
It’s still far from an ideal solution, but at least it’s probably the best they can do before completely reworking subtrees and makes for a good temporary option.

Well, i’m still waiting for tons of Japanese WWII planes and tanks.
We ares still missing so many of them, its insane. Especially when looking at the amount of years that Japan has been added to the game already.

Mmm I do see what you mean, however I’ve never really felt the UK tree really had a single identity with the export vehicles and even domestic light tanks that wildly differ from the mainline philosophy.

I meant more in the sense that a dedicated subtree line was the closest to a separate national section they had, so now they go to literally just vehicles from one nation somewhere in another.
But they can’t really do anything else without a full rework, so for now I think the change is good and does show Gaijin is aware that space is an issue and is trying to change that.

Quantity isnt quality friend and yes CR2 sucks in every metric it is inferior.
Mobility, firepower, protection, rate of fire, ready rack all of it is subpar
