The next logical step in each line for US aircraft would probably go as follows:
- F-16C Block 50 → F-16C Block 50+ PoBIT
- F-15C MSIP-II → F-15C Late or F-15EX
- F/A-18C Late → F/A-18E Super Hornet
- AV-8B Plus → F/A-18D USMC, EA-18G Growler, or F-35B
- F-15E → F-15E RMP or F-15EX
Explanations:
F-16C Block 50+ PoBIT - Essentially the US’s F-16V Block 70 equivalent. However, since the USAF does not field Block 70s at the moment, and they have already been upgrading Block 40/42/50/52s under PoBIT, that’s what I would expect Gaijin to add for the US tree.
F-15C Late or F-15EX - In all honesty, both vehicles work here. It mostly depends on which vehicle will come after the F-15E. If Gaijin plans on adding modern heavy bombers, we could see the F-15E line transition away from fighter-bombers, while the F-15C line remains the air superiority line. If that’s the case, the EX would go after the C. However, the question I have is whether they’d do a F-15C Late at all, or add it later in some other way.
F/A-18E Super Hornet - Self-explanatory
F/A-18D USMC, EA-18G Growler, or F-35B - There are many things Gaijin could do with this line. The F/A-18D would essentially be a useless addition, especially since they’re changing SP costs in GRB. The EA-18G Growler, on the other hand, would be amazing for whenever Gaijin adds EW. And finally, if neither the 18D or 18G get added, the F-35B would be the obvious choice for this line since it has VTOL capabilities.
F-15E RMP or F-15EX - Like I said earlier, the F-15E line could turn into heavy bombers. However, if it doesn’t, we could see upgraded F-15Es. The F-15E RMP would just add the AN/APG-82(V)1 while keeping the 8x missile loadout. I hope Gaijin does not waste our time and RP with the RMP and just goes straight to the F-15EX. The EX is basically the RMP but an actual warranted upgrade – not just another 420k RP and 3 million SL to throw away for a radar upgrade.

The more I think about it. The more I think KGV will be another Rank VIII 8.0 battleship for Britain and therefore wont be the premium option.
