Yes and could likely guide an ARHM 50+ miles in game Typoon can only use it’s IRST 120 guidance in the region of 12 miles. Which is nothing in terms of BVR.
ASRAAM and Pirate were designed with the mindset Russia would have Gen 5 airframes and how do we shoot down jets we cant reliably detect.
Which is why I said remove it as it has no real bearing on gameplay.
I would much rather have the dozens of things Pirate is missing added.
That’s why I said both squad and team datalinks, team datalinks would have more since its drawing from the whole team, but squad DL would be nice for prioritizing targets

Plus to puts it at over a week from the CM. And Dev’s seem to start a number of days after it.
Gaijin already has almost 30 minutes of footage the shows the IRIAF F-14s can and have used 6 Aim-54s. It was marked as “suggestion” and left on the backburner for a year now.
So while it’s great that you have this footage, and I’ll submit it to them to look over, the chances they’ll do anything with it is near 0.

Can you take another look at these reports since new definitive evidence has been found that the Aim-54/Fakour can be used on the wing glove pylons? It is no longer a suggestion and is now a bug that needs to be fixed.
