Just keep in mind I have no clue about really any of this and I’m just reading.
it will not, it has a worse TWR than the leagacy hornet
Well afaik the Superhornet is less agile than the hornet, its whole point is more payload and bring back capability as well as greater range and altitude, so it really will be worse in a turn fight
It’s just heavier, and the engines don’t make up for that
Yeah and they gave nearly a year, maybe even longer, as the timeframe.
And the EFT nations would be pretty low on the list of trees that need an AESA fighter.
Still, I hope I can dogfight decently in it
uhm this is what the US had to say about the super hornet

https://media.defense.gov/1999/Jul/07/2001713884/-1/-1/1/99-205.pdf
you cant the leagacy hornet ingame is already one of the weaker dogfighters ingame and the superhornet will jsut be worse
it’s essentially an interdictor like the Tornado or MiG-27 , just 20 years newer
It will likely still pull decently, but it will just fall out of the sky after a couple turns.
but that’s what he said?
and to top all that up, the super horny does not even achieve it’s goal of extending the hornet ranges because a legacy hornet can do the same as a super hornet with a larger droptank
That’s worse than I thought lmao, the superhornet really is a disappointment to everyone it seems
So it only gets range and a bit more payload
Yeah that thing will only be fine for strike
the worlds best sold disappointment
Then how about the f15ex (is it even coming?) and how could of a dogfighter would it be
iirc it tries to solve an Aerodynamic problem with Thrust vectoring
which will work, partially, at the cost of sustained turnrate and energy retention
not even range apparently

Thrust vectoring? Actually?
if it’s what I think it is?.. if not then expect 500 comments flaming me for getting it wrong
Can’t find it online.
It does have advanced fbw
the EX dosent have TVC
