Why not have both Su-30 is great at killing tanks and Ka-52 is also great at killing tanks

Im not sure if Britain is or isnt getting it for the AH-64E. I havent seen any sources stating either way yet.
But honestly. We should, There are so many examples of vehicels getting something they litereally never used because another nation has the same vehicle with it, and yet, that litereally never ever applies to Britain. For some reason, we are exempt from the “vehicles can get equipment and weapons from other nations” thing.

ever since last patch and the whole Mi-28 LDIRCM shenanigans people have been acting like IRCM systems are some new mechanic and that they are some magic anti missile shield so people just whined about the Mi-28NM and Z-10ME because they negated their new shiny (IRIS-T)
The reality is and has been for a long while before this patch that any helicopter without F&F atgms regardless of if they have IRCM systems or not is pretty much dead

TBF, whining about the IRIS-T being defeated by early LDIRCM is very understandable, considering a key point of the missile is it’s improved resistance to LDIRCM.

Helis are DOA full stop at top-tier unless they have FnF munitions.
DIRCM won’t do anything ws 95% of top tier SPAA aka SACLOS

Oh that I agree with, i am just more pointing out the issue of people forgetting this mechanic existed at all until last patch.
Well, most of non-soviet SPAA are now IR. That helps
With DIRCM you at least have a layer of defence. You are harder to kill by aircraft and a lot of the new SPAA is negated by it.
True, FnF is the main advantage, but comparing AH-64 vs Mi-28. Neither of which have FnF. I saw way more Mi-28s being used and actually getting kills than AH-64s. This in part because the Vikhrs is actually usable at top tier and Hellfire isnt. But if they are going to continue to deny the existance of FnF weapons such as the AGM-114L or JAGM, then the bear minimum is giving every nation with SAL DIRCM for a minimum layer of defence.
More annoyed at the decision to power creep a SAM like the IRIS-T into the game when all that was needed was a nerf or change to Kh-38…Now any jet without a Mach 2.0 missile just dies to IRIS-T SLMs.
It’s time for ARM then at least Typhoon could get a Fnf missile
no…? of all the new SPAA added last patch only the IRIS-T SLS and SLM are IR only. All of the other ones are Radar and IR guided
for that matter most of the Future SPAA everybody will get will be mostly radar guided or at least primarly radar guided with an option for IR.
Russian helis hunt IRIS-T sams as they are immune during the terminal phase.
Do radar guided SAMs even work against helis? I’ve rarely managed to kill one with an ARH or SARH fired from fixed wing

Yeah the rule has been very inconsistent. Stuff like the Swiss F/A-18C getting the same weapons as the US F/A-18C because of this rule but can’t get BOL from Finish Hornets on other Hornets but then the Rafale can get half its features from Indian Rafales.

To be fair currently the Optical Imaging missiles of the Type 81 still get affected by LDIRCM for some reason as if it was some sort of magic visual stealth feature. So those are effectively still “IR” as far as that is concerned.
It’s most likely just Gaijin forgetting that it’s a different guidance type rather than just IRCCM, but it annoys me anytime I use the Type 93 or Type 81 (C)
