well, there is always a way to fly better. In that chance if USAF will install GE132 on their F-15EX - it will fly better than F-15E and quite noticable
It sounds expensive, and afaik US doesn’t use 132 on anything else. So it would mean no existing spare parts, making it even more expensive and unlikely
key word is IF they do that, currently they haven’t
its like how the EFT technically could be fitted with a TVC engines but its so expensive it just isn’t worth doing when most EFT nations are working on 6th gens (at least the 3 nations in game are anyway)

I’d love for it to happen but it’s like typhoon AMK kit, there doesn’t seem to really be demand for it
at some point they can put it onto F-15EX, F-16C.
fuel consumption would be quite the concern on the F-16, wouldnt it?
But why though? I mean I think they are too far deep into F-35 to switch back to F-16 enough to warrant 132’s
And EX is perfectly capable without them, it would be better yes, but is it worth the cost?

A few maybe, but the Typhoon isnt exactly lacking in weapon choices from Brimstone and Spear to Storm Shadow and Taurus to about a dozen different GBUs.
Yes, Gripen E was designed to be more economical. That was a key part of it, but… that does also come with a reduction in performance.
atm the AMK kit is actually being worked on so from the looks of it, we will at least get a variant equipped with it, if anybody actually buys the kit is a different story
people also seem to forget the EFT was built for Europe not for outside export (which also means when anyone wants to sell their EFTs everyone needs to agree)
F-35 is cheaper… if discussion is about purchase price
from what i found the cost of the Gripen E is estimated at 85 million US$ and the EF at around 110 million US$ so it dosent even cost half as much as the gripen
and the F-35 was built for export because the US didnt want another F-22 situation where its way to expensive to actually built on their own

From what I understand though, its also the maintenance cost is much lower as well, about half
but even then you are only going to reach that difference in cost after 20 or 30 years if not more
