The F-15EX and Gripen E, Superhornet III are the best 4.5 Gen aircraft in the world (followed by the other Eurocanards). And the Su-35 is on par with them. The Eurofighter and Rafale lack quantity and variety of weaponry atm. And they’re not combat proven like the Superhornet and Su-35 who have similar ages to them. And technically the Rafale has been combat-proven, just not in it’s favor.
I can assume that along with the new air defense systems, cluster bombs and SEAD will appear in this update. JS Yubetsu will also appear, because the Community Update talked about several “iconic, large” ships. Could there also be an F-18 for Germany?

The F-15EX is a flying brick just like the F-15E
The Gripen has low combat endurance and limited CAS/ SEAD capebilities
The Super Hornet has a even worse TWR than the legacy Hornet and accelerates even slower and has a lower top speed and service celing
so the EF and rafale are missing quantity but the gripen e isnt?

- The Gripen E can do dedicated anti-ship, EFT can’t, The Gripen E has better EW and more weapons compatibility (entirety of NATO + Domestic Swedish and Brazilian weapons). And both are around 4x as expensive btw.

you mean the platforms that are actually exported instead of the Gripen E?
it is a render made by the Eurfighter GmbH so it is something that certainly is possible if desired
and also what about the F-15EX and Superhornet?

iirc the twin Meteor rails are also proposed for the future Gripen M by SAAB themself.

that might certainly help but it wont change the fundermental areodynamics of the jet, unless they found a way to ignore the laws of physics or something
