I am aware the Nagato refit was ridiculous (makes sense as it was their first blatant step into ignoring the Treaties which the Nagato’s had already been completely unaffected by unless you count cruisers with funnily interchangeable turrets). That said. I think an Amagi with 2" more armour might edge its way ahead of Nagato refit simply due to having more guns and similarly capable armour.
Both would be formidable ships but I think i’m more worried about Tosa than Nagato.
Given India presents within the game and is growing I still think it’s the HF-24, if it was German then the dev’s would of said one of the most famous German aircraft designers Kurt tank. But no they went with HIM instead and didn’t give Germany any mention here.
Makes me wonder though, what BR will it sit at if so ^^
I agree with you actually, I mentioned the same thing a few comments ago.
However, they haven’t announced any vehicles yet, it was just a preview of their plans. That’s what I meant, although it’s just my own interpretation.
I also think the Marut is very likely, since its model is already done.
That said, Marut it’s the only Tank models that hasn’t been added yet and doesn’t belong to the German tech tree. All the other Tank models should go to Germany. That’s what I meant when I said that maybe, by mentioning Tank, there’s a higher chance it’s something for Germany. But again, that’s just my interpretation.
I also think the Naval reward is German as you clearly want people to grind these bigger and more iconic ships, what better way to get people to grind them by adding a event one too.
The CM disclosure does specify iconic. The Tosa class isn’t exactly iconic, or known for their role as battleships. Plus the turrets on Amagi are specifically the post-rebuilt Nagato turrets and not the ones she was supposed to have (although funny enough the rebuilt turrets on Nagato and Mutsu were taken from Tosa and Kaga). I think they already have a Nagato model ready and she should be expected first.

The only reason we had the Mutsu was because the Nagato will be coming in its final configuration. And it must come before or together with the Bismarck, not after. To be honest, Bismarck is already around the corner.
I can see them having Terpitz be the reward with Bismarck being the tech tree ship lol

not really we got an Renown as an Event ship when the top ship for the uk was Hood both were 7.0s. We also got HMS Barham as an event ship before any tech tree QE-class
Yeah, our second and third 7.0 ships were both event ships added a while after the first and both were first-in-class in game.
Id guess for Germany as well. Geneisneau sounds good, but its scharnhost class after all and she wont bring much new. Deutschland or admiral sheer seems possible but i wont say they are iconic enough, although, pocket battelships are great for war thunder maps.
I take away the opposite from them mentioning Tank, I think they want to keep it less specific and mentioning it as an Indian vehicle would be too much of a giveaway but saying German or British wouldn’t be correct.

All maruts went supersonic at altitudes, wiki is misleading regarding it never went supersonic. The 2 later variants could possibly go mach 1 or slightly above on the deck
