I dont see the need to add whole need jets just to finally give Su-34 it Khibini ECM pods (especially since it visual model still bugs-out with them equipped in the hanger)
That’s for Gaijin to decide.
Su-34M with ECM pods, better thermals, R-74 and some new ground attack weapons and additional hard points players will grind for it.
Then we could see a Su-32 as a premium/event vehicle.
In air RB it is basically useless. The radar just lets you see everything you can’t hit and everything that will hit you.
Ground rb, not sure how Gaijin will fix the issue of strike aircraft. Strike aircraft with good flight performance have a much more stable place in the meta than those which rely on their kit.
You could put the Su-34 at 40.7 and it wouldn’t change that it shoots the same targets and is attacked by the same SPAA, so not sure what Gaijin will do to fix it.

There are still more than enough options to add more than 1 new somewhat unique top tier MBT per year.
Gaijin has pretty much just forgotten top tier ground for the last 1.5 year in terms of anything that isn’t CAS.

For France it could be the MICA VL system (a vertical Mica launcher)
It can both shoot mica ir and em no ? And the ir one would be closer to irist in terms of range.
Umkhonto GBL is an option. So is gravehawk.
