Couple of things here:

Events are not a guarantee that something being tested will 100% come to the game. Because modern vehicles did, does not mean everything will.

For many years even before that event, there was a clear drive and demand in the community for the game to evolve upwards into the modern era as a natural progression of the games timeline. You could not actually obtain any vehicles during that actual event to use in the game. Here you can.

Well they gotta advertise the other game, and that’s how they’ve decided to do it. I don’t think they’re going to change their opinion just because we request the same over and over again.
I’m actually really thankful for having the chance to unlock the vehicles they let us, asking for more is just…eh…

Yeah but the thing is you keep missing the point of the question, will we see WW1 air content/more ground content come to War Thunder in the future?
Not talking about Aces of Thunder, we know WW1 aviation will be present there but since it is separate from War Thunder players will be locked out of that content if they cannot play a VR only game for various reasons, that’s a massive amount of the playerbase.
We have seen with this event that WW1 itself can work (obviously with tweaks to it) and that players actually want this in War Thunder. The tanks would work well in their own WW1 gamemode and the aircraft work well currently but would also benefit from their own gamemode or adjusted BR’s.

The question has not been missed, in fact we have answered it with everything that we have announced so far several times now. Right now we have a WW1 event taking place where you can obtain 6 ground vehicles and the H.P.12 bomber. Beyond that, we have announced that WW1 aviation is coming to Aces of Thunder. There is nothing further than that to talk about.
What’s going to happen with the whole modern infantry thing?
So answer me this, is this WW1 and can be played in normal game modes within war thunder ?

Unless you want a -1.3 BR to put the ww1 vehicles on, there really isn’t any real way to incorporate them into normal RB. Especially for ground.
Current event vehicles already show how heavily the ww1 designs struggle against even the weakest interwar designs.

Again, adding WW1 to War Thunder would require a major rework on the tech trees/BR and I don’t think they’re up for that currently (hell, they’re struggling with the servers just to run the event). Maybe in the future, but asking them to seriously commit to WW1 (during April Fools) currently is a big stretch.
I would be fine if they just made the current ww1 thing a permanent event.
If they can’t be integrated into the main game, I don’t think having it permanently in the event tab would be a bad thing.
