And the EFT was designed to take on the Su-27 with Myech radar, R-73’s, and R-27’s. Not the Su-35 or Su-30SM2… Which would be no cakewalk for the EX or the EFT Tranche 4.

Unlike the F-15 and Su-27. I dont think the EFT was designed with a specific threat counter in mind.
Rather was designed to be a multi-role platform that fit the needs of the Eurofighter nations
I completely agree. I just think CAPTOR, iirc when discussing this before, was designed with the Su-27 as a benchmark (right? idk EFT stuff).
If we’re being pedantic, the Su-27 was not designed with the F-15 in mind as competition. It was designed to fit the “Heavy” role in Soviet Tactical aviation, and as a complement to the Air Defense force.
People misconstrue it’s heavy design influence and style cues (from the F-14 and F-15) with what was actually more of a fixed wing F-14 with AL-21’s and proper LERX’s, which was basically the rough idea of the prototype (early) T-10.

It was a Blue Vixen from the Sea Harrier FA2 that they massively upgraded. Knowing they werent going to go with AESA straight away, they made CAPTOR-M a powerhouse radar

well the F-15C (pre MSIP II) would be the closest contemporary of the flanker. that thing could for sure give a flanker absolute hell.
EX is simply better than the SM2 and only thing the 35 has is aero performance, US AESA radars are almost certainly more advanced, and the flankers payload is frankly abysmal
combat range is pretty similar but because of CFT the F-15 can haul more, farther. 2 F-15EX could probably do the same damage as 3 flankers
it is a shame how bad CAPTOR-M is in game as it should be the most powerful mechanical search radar in game and I wouldn’t be surprised if it were better then some PESA and maybe ASEA radars
early PESA and extremely early AESA (like J/APG-1 prototype) maybe
M-scan is inferior in nearly every way to -ESA, especially AESA
It is powerful, except gaijin’s pasta code ruined every TWS+
but mostly in range part, target tracking is ESA’s advantage

I honestly expected it to be like the Tornado ADV radar, that thing is absolutely cracked. But nope! Can’t maintain target lock in TWS unless it’s the narrow scan.

Its an official marketing peice from Eurofighter…While it is a render it isnt made in photoshop.
We all but know the Typhoon can carry missiles in that configurayion the issue is no user has ever felt the need to do so.
