i agree, but also it’d be nice to have variety. France has Leclercs and Leopards, USA has HSTVL/RDFLT + Abrams, Italy has Ariete, Centauro + Leopard, Sweden has CV90120, Strv + Leopard, etc. Pretty much half the nations in the game has either a more Armoured or Mobile MBT, or has a Light vehicle + MBT at 11.7/12.0. I think it’d be nice for all nations in the game to have a MBT and Light(-like) Vehicle at top tier.

As for nations I haven’t mentioned,
USSR can uptier 2S25M, 2S38 or BMP-2M, UK can uptier Rooikat 105 (similar to how Japan can uptier Type 16), China has VT5, Israel has Namer Trikshon. The reason I didn’t mention them is that they’re all sort of lacking in variety at 11.0+ (every vehicle but Namer and VT5 are below 11.0). I just think it’s nice and interesting for every nation to have two playstyles at 11.0+.

(FRA) Leclercs are more mobile, Leopards are more armoured, better round, more crew
(USA) HSTVL/RDFLT is more flexible, fast and has quicker reload, Abrams are more armoured, better round, more competitive
(ITA) Centauro / Ariete are more mobile, Leopard is more armoured, better round

you get my point. Japan top tier has just Type 90/10/TKX MBTs. All vehicles that prioritize mobility over armour. Uptiering the Type 16 just gives you a bit more speed. I think it’d be nice for Japan to have a vehicle that can tank a round or two and play differently than the light(er) vehicles.

T-84 would also be unique in a way, as the T-84 could only really come as an event to USSR or as a Ukrainian tree/subtree- both of which aren’t too likely honestly. I imagine other countries/regions would be prioritized as some massive militaries still aren’t represented well ingame (LATAM, Turkiye, MENA, etc.

I don’t think this one is a good example of something that adds variety. It’s just a worse Merkava with scouting lol.

That’s actually not true. The Leclerc in game has slightly lower acceleration and equivalent or worse than the leopard 2A6, M1A2… the Leclerc gearbox is complete garbage and it’s one of the only high tier MBT to slightly underperform compared to IRL (when most other overperform from a lit time but - M1A2, Leopard - to overperforming with a wide margin - T80, Challenger).
So the Leclerc isn’t more mobile and is worse armored

It’s neutral steering is more performant than the M1A2, Leo 2A7, Leclerc and T80BVM iirc, which would be surprising considering the difference in HP and HP/ton.

Iirc, its actually underperforming due to the lack of regen steering. But it’s current performance is more likely because Britian made a massive stink about it last year and it was the only thing they actually fixed in the “overhaul” we got
