Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

I’m genuinely curious as to what Israel has done for US to deserve such care from the US govt

Personally don’t have anything against them but all that aid money and weapons is questionable

Britain doesn’t care that much, and we made them, I can only assume Israel has some serious dirt on the US.

Especially as the US is seemingly trying to go more isolationist, and the current conflict seems the perfect excuse to pull out, but instead they go after the ICC of all things increasing support for Israel’s actions

With all the money we throw at them you’d at least think we’d have an Israel subtree /s

If US does get a subtree, a defence industry one would be the most fitting imo

It would have made a lot of sense, we’d probably have the Python 4 and other more advanced IR missiles now if you did, like I know you’re being sarcastic, and I do like the Israeli air tree, but was it really necessary?

Same with the whole issue of F-15C Baz M radar, wouldn’t have happened.

But yeah, Israel has quite a bit of fairly unique stuff, to me its the last good standalone tree option, everything else requires mixing together 2 nations just for it work or is almost completely copy paste

I’d say Israel, India, and United Korea all have about the same amount of content. Enough for Air and Ground trees starting around rank IV to cut down on copy and paste.

You’re probably right, though India could have also worked, but that idea is dead, hopefully to my benefit at least.

And with Israel as a subtree you’d probably have the 220s on the F-15E still

i mean thats a bad thing for the US but id have to say that it would have been better for the sake of game balance.

tbh now that i think of it most of the israeli players issues would be solved if it was a US subtree and the whole 229/220 thing never wouldve happened. so it might have worked well but never actually happened so we cant be sure

india is gone, United Korea isnt as good a standalone tree as Israel, it requires 2 nations splitting most stuff roughly evenly to work

Yeah and? That doesn’t have anything to do with what I’m saying

What do you mean by this? China does this fine right now

United Korea is also only even considered an option because Israel and China paved the way for it, without at least one of those trees the whole concept of a United Korea tree is crazy, it’s a split nation and starts at rank 4, I do still want to see it though, and a Warsaw Pact tree type thing, make it an even 12 and then call it quits on adding new TTs

thats because China’s military history throughout wt time period is tricky, i mean they easily couldve just stopped with ROC stuff at the point where PRC took over and China would still have fair bit of vehicles, but they just kept adding newer ROC stuff for the sake of it i guess

that would work, along with a Lockheed, Boeing, Northrop subtree for US since anything else people will complain about.

i mean, think of it, its not taking away exclusivity EFT of Rafale or MiG’s and Sukhois, its literally just American stuff

I don’t how this applies to United Korea as a downside though.

Both NK and SK have large indigenous MICs. More vehicles= more diversity= more interesting and full tech tree.

How is this a problem?

  1. NK gets all its tech from Russia or China (i think they are closer to Russia though), SK is the only one with a proper MIC
  2. diversity at the cost of everyone else, it just worsens the issue of having redfor and bluefor stuff in one tree. if they add nation tags for sim MM itd be fine but they havent

This isn’t true whatsoever

please tell me who is actually buying NK equipment? its nonexistent outside of NK (and Russia i guess) for a reason

There are plenty of ground vehicles that are mostly or fully indigenous. Not everything is imported.

Actually more close to China after Sino-Soviet border conflict. Russo-NK military alliance just restore recently.

Iran and the UAE have bought from North Korea.
