Python 4 is better than PL-8B. That’s not a subjective thing. It’s still a Python 3 even if it’s been Chineseified.

It depends on what you value, the PL-8B has an egregious amount of thrust so if you like far away stealthy shots than that’s for you.
On the contrary, I’m a fan of frenzied rocket overloads. Years of playing on the R-60 change a person.

In fairness it would appear to be a really good missile. But the extra thrust might cause the missile to have really bad manuverability at max impulse.
I love orbital strikes with PL-5Bs but Magics are also pretty nice

I think at the ranks, when radar missiles eliminate the need for long-range missiles, overload for short-range missiles is more important than range.(
