A Hornet isn’t gonna DoA just because Gaijin doesn’t give it more advanced armaments. They can just put it at a lower BR and it will work just fine.

Twas but a joke, a Brazilian JAS 39 NG would be a cool Swedish premium/event vehicle though. Have they used any different weaponry on their Gripens like the Piranha for example?
Swiss moment, again until gaijin can actually show that they care even slightly about the nordic airtree i have no reason to put faith that they won’t try to ruin it.
Imo i won’t be suprised if Norway and Denmark are split like Canada and given to other nations

I just hope it doesn’t arrive under multiple nations at this point. I’d like to see the US have it for an update or three before it gets the C&P treatment. But the hype for it feels cheapened or diminished at this point.

It should be added to Finland as well, but Germany doesn’t need it, neither does Britain under Canadian or Australian flag, that can wait till later.
Sweden needs something better than the Gripen though, even if it isn’t 14.0

I am fine with it going to whoever got one. Just not when it finally arrives to the game. Personally, I would like to see the US, and only the US, have it for a couple of updates. After two, give it to everyone. Knowing my luck/Gaijin, that will most likely not be the case.

If it’s already DoA like you say, why make everyone else wait even longer for it, Sweden could actually use it right now, it would be their best jet, they “need” it more than the US does, I get wanting stuff for your tree, but trying to deny it for others for vain, selfish reasons is not something that should be done

The recent year we have seen major prizes for the US, Sweden, Israel and Germany, as well as smaller prizes for France, Soviets(two), the US(two) and China. I would probably say the major reward is most likely French followed by Italian, Chinese, or Soviet.

Additionally it may come in the form of a light or medium/MBT. Since BP vehicles of this category can be traced back to last winter.
I could understand it if it was the F18A vs the C but i feel that gaijin will likely add the late F18C since that has the upgraded engines as Finland and Switzerland didn’t buy the F18 until the engines were upgraded iirc.
I think the F18A will likely be added as a premium around 13.0

An American tank for France as the main prize? Not sure what we could get that would be BP worthy copy paste, perhaps a standard M46 or M47.
The only silver lining here is Smin stating, sometime last year, that no one will see it before the US. That doesn’t mean they won’t come at the same time but again; after the shade the EFT/Rafale fanboys threw at US mains for getting skipped out of a plane that wouldn’t have diminished their arrival, ehh. To my understanding and from what people have said here, Sweden has another Grippen model they could get instead so they are good for an update.
