Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

The Irish and Indians both hate the British so its not a problem

It is very likely we will see late Rafales and EFTs in the game years prior India actually fields one of these lmao

I am equally talking about those too and was not talking about just trivial reports. Majors and QoLs frequently tackle these.

@Smin1080p_WT Is there any news on whether these two bug reports:

Will be added/fixed during or before the next update?

That is true. The data on the upgrades is already out and underway so maybe, just maybe Gaijin will implement it. I am huffing a lot of hopium

The forum servers would actually need to be shut down if that happened.

what do you think the likelihood out of 10 is that UK gets an Australian F18 this update (assuming the US also gets an F18)

Peeps started talking mad meeps about India causing all sorts of tomfoolery.

Actually a list of “expected” December/Q1 2025 planes that would be worse than the F-15I in strict ARB (IMO):

Rafale:

  • Mediocre Top Speed (High Supersonic Drag)
  • Mediocre Supersonic Acceleration (High Supersonic Drag)
  • Mediocre Range Missiles (MICA only, Meteor is too strong)
  • Limited Countermeasure Flexibility (32x Large Calibre Countermeasures,
224x Chaff Countermeasures) (Flares are fairly important as due to the mediocre speed and short range missiles this plane will have to get closer to enemies than other jets)
  • Possibly no HMS
  • Unable to be as assertive as the F-15I due to all factors above

F/A-18C:

  • Mediocre Top Speed (Very High Drag, Low T/W Ratio)
  • Mediocre Acceleration (Very High Drag, Low T/W Ratio)
  • Just really the utter inability to get up to high speed and altitude.
  • Unable to be as assertive as the F-15I due to all factors above

Su-30SM:

  • Mediocre Flight Model
  • Mediocre Missiles (Unless R-77-1 is added)
  • Lack of Countermeasures (Retains the low CM amount of previous Flankers)
  • Unable to be as assertive as the F-15I due to all factors above

The F-15I is just the perfect combination of insane acceleration, climb rate and top speed with 360 countermeasures and 8 missiles (Optionally all ARH) which makes it really powerful if played right. The Hornet having 2 more AMRAAM’s does not really matter when the Hornet doesn’t have the ability to just fire chaff periodically, get within 10-15 km of the enemy, launch 4 missiles and immediately turn around to outrun anything the enemy team could possibly fire at you.

I’m kind of mad about it.
I’m in a train, so I can’t grab popcorn.

The chance is somewhere between 0 and 100%

Although I hope its somewhere closer to the latter

CF-188 would also be welcomed

Welp, considering we don’t know anything that’s coming, my two big (and only real) hopes are :

  • Israeli domestic A2G munitions being modeled and added, so Ra’am is a bit less sad lacking Mav’s.

  • A top tier AA for Israel, because Chaparral is rapidly evaporating my will to exist.

But do you know which country could get a Rafale with an HMS…
