Claiming Russian top-tier MBTs are only 5th best is flat-out wrong and shows a lack of understanding about how these vehicles perform in-game. While countries like Germany and Sweden have strong top-tier MBTs, Russia’s tanks—like the T-80BVM and T-90M—are exceptional in their own right. They offer a potent mix of firepower, mobility, and survivability, including advanced ERA systems like Relikt, which are unmatched in certain scenarios.
Japan’s MBTs, for example, are strong in specific roles, but they lack the versatility and all-around effectiveness of Russian tanks. Italy only has weak armoured Arietes - which can’t fulfill the same role - with only one “decent” tank (Leopard 2A7HU) . Germany and Sweden might compete, but the idea that Japan or Italy surpass Russia at top-tier is laughable.
I’d recommend revisiting the stats and performance of these vehicles in-game before making sweeping statements.

Absolutely. Russia’s strength comes from having competitive or even best in game options in every category. They aren’t weak or even below average anywhere. MBT’s, light tanks, AAA, helicopters, CAS. The sum is what makes them a powerhouse.

The US is most likely getting the F/A-18 this patch, Sweden too if the new premium Viggen is anything to go by.

The Type 10 has the absolute best firepower at top tier, plus a full speed reverse gear and semi-competent armor. Russian tanks comparatively have similar forward mobility, the 2nd worst firepower at top tier, worse reverse, but better gun handling and better armor

Honestly, while I love jets I do prefer the lower BRs, 12.0 is fun for the modern jets with no ARH and 9.3 is just a great BR overall imo
That would be the correct analysis. All the more reason it pays to build complete lineups and try to BR match.

Its a good reload but thats all it has going for it.
Which is plagued by issues and ahistoricaly modeled transmission.

There could be more coming than what is just on the leak list, I’m sure Gaijin wants to sell some US jets for Christmas that’s a big market opportunity right there.

As an MBT in the traditional sense maybe not, but for what they can do they are good.
The reload, while probably often overrated is still a big advantage paired with the great shell, decent mobility (reverse too) and high quality thermals. It does play like a light tank, but it’s good at it.
And considering there is 3 Type 10s that can be spawned without backups, two with high performance Type 10 APFSDS, that is quite strong.
Though maybe a bit repetetive and the lack of support vehicles as well as “proper” MBT doesn’t helpwith that.

there is multiple parts besides the leak list
You learn with the 3BM42 how to aim, and if you keep to it, the marginal increase in penetration to 3BM46 and then 3BM60 translate well even at top tier. So yes, the pen is not great comparatively, but we’re talking about a competition roughly among peers. Russian vertical gun speed is still basically trash. Armor is effectively the best in most scenarios. Reverse is trash, no one is arguing it isn’t, but again, you learn to play with it.
game would change quickly if all other countries would get their up to date ammunition,

The main issue is the reload, T-80BVM has a better reload but T-90M is tied with Chinese MBTs for worst reload at top tier. As for gun handling, the T-72B3, T-80BVM, and T-90M all have gun handling pretty much identical to the Leopards. Minus gun depression of course.
