I don’t know enough about the differences, but Vikhr-1 is a thing now apparently, and possibly Vikhr-M (if it’s not just the Vikhr-1). There’s also the Hermes, which the Hermes-A could be launched from Ka-52’s with a 15-20km range.
It’s at a limited capacity, as it’s huge, but the LMUR/I-305 is also an option, which without datalink assist can do 14.5km on it’s own with top-down attack, and can in theory be carried in twin pylon carriers, at at least 4 per helicopter, which can be launched from the Mi-8’s to the 24, 28’s, and 35’s, as well as the Ka-52. If gaijin were being realistic though, the Ka-52 would have a more limited loadout on the wings/sprues as they don’t like being under full load, and don’t like having loads on the last set of pylons. Otherwise, it seems that the Ka-52 could in theory actually carry 6 LMUR’s.

I don’t deny that the Abrams could use some love in the hull armor department, but it still seems questionable to the hull upgrades being DU inserts specifically.
When we went down that rabbit-hole last year, it seems that there are radiological concerns for the crew when placed in the hull.
In my personal opinion, I do think gaijin is correct that the DU hulls really only do exist in the 5 training tanks.
We also know that the turrets are all marked for which ones have DU, we know they have DU, but the hulls are not marked in any discernable manner as we have discovered, mostly it seems for secrecy concerns.
There were tests and documentation proving it wasnt a risk to crew whatsoever
The Abrams should REALLY also get its armored Turret Ring

TBH i am all for giving the SEPv2 the DU hull. Why not? It won’t change anything about the tank, as the problem is not in the DU hull lol.
Then it allows US not to be malding all the time, and when someone mentions they want a vehicle, it doesn’t devolve into “DU Hull!!”
Pretty sure Smin said there will be none for today.
There are plently of fake trailers out tho.

It’s definitely a case of take them down before they rearm and do it again situation or camp their spanws as they predictably fly straight and right into a sub 8 km launched ARH at altitude.
