I would not use that logic, the first appearance of France in game was in the British tree in the form of a low rank bomber :shrug:
And anyway, India has been confirmed as a subtree, thus the nation splitting rules don’t apply.
So a nation made as a subtree can be placed into its own indigenous tree, perfect, surgically remove India from Britain and put it as its own with another nation then. Like Israel to America

Just to point out.
Yes, as they are currently the sub-tree system is one of the worst things in the game. However, it is still better then Being Ripped Across Multiple Trees. Being used as “filler” for other nations is THEE worst fate a nation could get in game, having none of your vehicles in game would be better.
