So if I am understanding this report correctly. The 9M has an Flare Bias and push ahead feature that helps the seeker avoid preflaring.
I still don’t see anything that makes what we have ingame an early 9M.
Hell all it really shows is they didn’t implement the 9M correctly and it will be buffed at some time.
I had to look it up right after I made the comment and found the same picture.
Sea Blue really CAN de-uglify any plane. Good to know.
My single goal in Ace Combat 7 was to see how may aircraft I can make look better with the Japanese roundel

Never said that this was feature of the late, just that the are currently underperforming
Again nothing stops gaijing from adding a new variant with a better irccm as the current one, as nothing indicates that the ones that we currently have is not an early one either
What’s everyone’s speculation / predictions for what will be added that’s not on the list?
(Not wishlist, stuff you feel is likely based on ‘x’ being said or ‘y’ being discovered in files etc)
What stops that is if there is no newer variation. Leave it simple 9M is a 9M.
Again we have nultiple iterations irl, no reason to not recive a new more a advanced one and a les advanced one…also the hole naming issue is pretty much meaningless as it has nothing to do with the game as it is literally just a line of code, seeker perfomance is afterall also a balancing factor, and it is completely possible and probable for the us to get a new aim 9m with a better seeker to not fall behind to it counterparts.
