The F-14B is genuinely AWFUL now.
Again, most other planes at 13.0 and above should be moving up. Compared to most stuff between 12.0 and 12.7 the F-14A and B definitely deserve their current BR placement.
if you compare a vehicle only to what it faces in downtiers ofc it is gonna look completely busted, compared to what an F-14 deals with in a full uptier and it gets shredded
I mean we can get the ZTZ99A with the prototype APS? Or the VT-5 but thats about it excluding Taiwan with the M1A2T but its probably not gonna be all that great knowing the devs refuse to give it spall liners OR du in the hull
For Japan its way more dire as all they have is the Type 10 with APS now with Thailand they would get the VT-4 and T-84 Oplot-T but without a fix of the Type 10 again not gonna be the best at top tier when stuff like the M1E3 (soon to be built irl hopefully unless the DoD does what the DoD does best), Object 640, Object 195, etc come to the game.

From what I could find with Chinese-speaking sources, Belarus helped in “tricking” the N001 radar into thinking that an R-77 is an R-27 for the J-11A. The MLU’s added coverage of MAWS in both the front and rear hemispheres is to make up for the unimpressive RWR. J-11B only had rear hemisphere coverage for its RWR.
Unofficially, J-11A did not do too well against Thai Gripens in Falcon Strike 2015 exercise in BVR. The next couple of years China brought J-10s that performed notably better.

We can, but that does not fix the fundamental problem of the ZTZ99A and VT-4s ingame. That being 577mm of penetration, 7.1 second reload, -5 degrees of gun depression, and the big armor weakspots and now nerfed base armor.
So unless Gaijin is willing to address some of these problems, this is about it. VT-5/Type-15 there is still a chance but they are light tanks and not MBTs, and Gaijin will probably model aspects of them incorrectly as well.
For Japan, yeah. It’s not looking very good. If they add VT-4 it is literally going to be worse than the current VT-4, and possibly even the MBT-2000.

J-11A MLU is just a way to utilize the remaining airframes through a low-cost upgrade before they inevitably get relegated to training roles. Details of the exact upgrades of the MLU is unfortunately scarce, even among Chinese sources. So it is clear that it is not a priority. J-11B production took over J-11A completely starting from the late 2000s anyway.

Yeah, though don’t expect too much from it. I’d imagine it will be same BR as MBT-2000.
Thai VT-4 selected a slightly inferior gun (which affects accuracy, not penetration) but the main thing is that the Thai VT-4 uses FY-2 ERA instead of FY-4, which is worse.

Do you not understand why BR compression is a problem that has to be adressed?
By buffing the F-14s or moving them down in BR you make them more problematic for the planes they face in downtiers without really adressing why they seem lacklustre compared to 13.0 planes. Giving the A AIM-9Ls and the B AIM-9Ms is just a bandaid that creates more BR compression, as the Tomcats will still be inferior to stuff like the F-15 and Su-27.
By raising the max BR and moving the vehicles that are objectively better than their competition at their BRs up you improve the balance for everything in both uptiers AND downtiers.
They already have a top tier jet

The issue with Japan is their tank development was not like the United States, Germany, and France where they were designed to destroy the Soviets and push against them. The Type 10 for Japan is mainly a defensive postured tank designed for mountains similar to the Ariete which is one of the reasons the light armor and heavy armor variants exist.
As for China because their geopolitical enemies (Republic of China and the United States) they have been heavily focusing on their air force and navy much much more than their tank fleet this goes as far as their helicopter fleet and the likes. It’s the same reason (like the United States with the M10 Booker) that they are pushing away from expensive heavier vehicles like the Type 99A and moving towards the cheaper and lighter Type 15 but on the other hand the United States is still developing a new Abrams specifically because we are preparing for a war in both Europe and Asia unlike the PRC.

so no germany as of right now does not have a top tier air vehicle
