advanced like how? R27 it still outranges even AIM120, im pretty sure. Ok you cant spam them, so what
Also there is no public information (that gaijin would accept besides their “simulations and believes”) on the differences of each AIM120 model, what we assume is that they got more range and Gs, however the ranges of these missiles dont actually mean anything. Turn 90 degrees and chaff.
The real problem is with high capacity missile slingers such as F15EX that I mentioned earlier, its one thing to trick 10 missiles, but another to dodge 22+…
The gameplay will not change and in the most extreme case such as with the claimed range of R37M and the verified AIM174 range of 350-400kms, they still wont need to change the game, but for the sake of realism they could add extended maps for a higher BR, just for immersion
So it is not a game breaker, while you assume that by just range its gonna break everything
The claim that ‘EFT’s PD radar is as good as early AESA’ raises some questions. Aren’t you overestimating the CAPTOR? Judging from evaluations by the Swiss Air Force and interviews with Rafale pilots, it seems that the outdated sensors of the EFT are considered a clear weakness.
You see, when you’re the most advanced military in the world by far, with the biggest budged by far with the best tech by far, you don’t usually like leaking information so others might be able to skip through their process and come right at your doorstep. There are lots of claims regarding each model, but none are confirmed for obvious reasons. While other countries such as Russia and even China a bit, like to right away give an idea of their “power”, for intimidation purposes etc.
Public information like what? I literally searched everywhere and everything is just claims or assumptions. We kinda know what each model looks like, but thats irrelevant to a stat card. The US military will never disclose any information of substance. But go see for yourself, sure.
Any source on the R-73 RMD-2, you can also look
At the Izdelie 750 (R-74M) which is just an upgraded RMD-2 which is in production and in service today.
Depends which CAPTOR was tested and since this test is from 2008, they most likely had CAPTOR-C or any of the other earlier Radars (which were no where near to todays CAPTOR-M, on which said claims are related to).
It’s true, someone made a comment about simultaneously being better than the F-22 while also needing it to come before the F-22 lol. The truth is of course, it’s all somewhere in the middle, but also it’s WT so the truth is whatever Gaijin wants it to be.
