I was never talking about the J11A at all, have no idea why you are. I was talking about the 2 Su35 liveries China has on planes that aren’t the Su35. The J11 base model and J10A both have Su35 skins, I said nothing about the J11A. Perhaps you misunderstood what I meant about “the second not even being a flanker!”? I meant the J10 which is not a flanker having a Su35 camouflage lol.

Yes. That was my proposal earlier in the year too. Minus the targeting pod, and the GROM’s, it would’ve been basically a 27SM, but different™. Would’ve been a great opportunity to add the SAPSAN, if Gaijin wanted to sprinkle just a hair of that majikal sekrit dokuments treatment to the plane.
Gaijin should’ve saved the Su-34 for a different release imo.

Come to think of it, it’s kind of a shame they picked Maryland over West Virginia, which had the cool brand new superstructure, hahah. Still very glad U.S is finally getting a 16-incher, though!
EDIT: Actually, after seeing this pic, the older superstructure is growing on me, xD. And the original one is very cool, too! 1920s BBs have a special charm with how clean their decks were due to the lack of anti-air weaponry.
Anyway; maybe it’s a 1920s one, to be a 1:1 analogue to Mutsu; and maybe they then add West Virginia alongside with a WW2 refit Nagato. Makes sense, so neat, in any case!
Could’ve had a concurrent release with the Chinese Su-30MKK (basically the exact same plane) which would’ve given the Chinese just a slight boost to CAS.
