Throwing shade haha /s I thought we normally agree.
If they introduced Axis subs first I wouldn’t mind, historically it does make sense, RN subs could come with American ones as they had similar numbers (~265 for the US and ~240 for the RN).
I only used the ASW event as an illustrator that even though it would make more sense for Gaijin to focus on one nation historically, that is not always reflected. I picked the ASW one because its the closest one to submarines. (Also you’d hope ASW would come with the subs).
TBH I don’t know what you’re referencing but fair enough.
Cool, good for Britain. Anyway, the US submarine force HAS to be first. The US submarine force was the most effective submarine force of the war. Unlike everyone else, the US was actually able to completely stop its enemy from shipping anything. Not even small fishing junks or trains (the ones on land) were safe from American submarines.
Then of course the extremely overrated U-Boat arm of the Kriegsmarine, unfortunately that would also have to come first. I’d at least hope for Japan as the third (assuming they do three and not more or less) since they have the coolest subs, though France or Italy would be amusing.
Regardless, I still hope submarines don’t come this patch, and really, I hope they never do. They’re going to be a bigger mess than anything the game has seen yet.
F-20A with AIM-120s would be a paper vehicle, far more paper than YF-16 Japan Demonstrator [F-16AJ].
F-20A is a completed combat-capable prototype similar to Leopard 2K.
Second is the price is already increased thus wouldn’t increase further. Gaijin doesn’t adjust for inflation, let alone for only 2 vehicles.
T-72B3 2016 is already in-game.
Mig-31 is a wishlist item [I want it too, and believe it could be the next powercreep in top speed].
Like it’s not hard to understand War Thunder’s rules for vehicles:
Production vehicle and completed combat prototype: Gets weapons it actually received.
Non-completed non-combat prototype: Gets weapons it was intended to have.
Zero vehicles in War Thunder have swayed from these basic rules.
