Fairs though, but maybe the Gripen was a new telling sign? But that also may just say, “hey france gets Rafale here you go Indian Rafale go cry ab not getting EF”

i hate this forum. its hard to read when all in one place… any picture of it with weapon and gunsight?

So much bad could happen, knowing Gaijin.

I don’t think it was fitted before it was cancelled, but it was planned

Glory to memory - Живота Ђурић!

So I did the math, the F/A-18C at 75% internal fuel + 10x AMRAAM + 2x AIM-9M= 35,025 lbs (15,887 kg) which therefore equals .98 TWR

Roughly ofc give or take about .03 TWR due to mostly estimated numbers

TWR fully fueled .94

Why do people believe that Yamato coming now is far fetched?

We are talking about the guys who:

1- Implemented Hyuga when everyone else peaked at stuff like North Dakota, Westfalen, and Dreadnought.

2- Implemented Scharnhorst when everyone else peaked at stuff like Wyoming and Marlborough.

3- Gave Germany THREE Bayern-class super-dreadnoughts (Bayern, Baden, Sachsen) in a row while most nations did not have a single proper counterpart.

4- Implemented HMS Hood before any Queen Elizabeth, Revenge or Renown-class ships.

5- Gave Japan Mutsu and Amagi before anyone else had any remotely close counterpart (beside Scharnhorst).

6- U.S is still crippled and needed by proven-to-be too slow reload, too dangerous shell rooms, and comically shallow drafts that expose the ammoracks.

So… yeah. Balance in terms of new naval additions isn’t something that characterises them lmao.

The worst pet for me is that, in strange attempts at balancing the OP ships they implement way too early, they then proceed to butcher them by making their guns have a worse spread than a funfair shotgun. 380/381mm guns and 410mm guns have worse spread values than ships had in the late 1880s…

Like, why not adding balanced ships and counterparts, instead of adding OP ships only to then nerf them into near uselessness for balance?

This makes me feel like a Yamato with extremely gimped accuracy is indeed a real possibility.

There is no way Gaijin do a Eurocanards update. They will need to add something top tier and new to both Russia and US.

Russia I would surmise would be the Su-30Sm with it’s PESA Radar and R-77 (1) missiles.
US another F-15 or maybe a Super Hornet

I bet we won’t get the Yamato before the Sovetsky Soyuz.

Copying our style, cute.
Worst of all, I saw people claiming it came from me or us.
It would have taken 10 seconds to fact check that it did not.

Go and

@Smin1080p_WT could you respond to the last question yesterday please?

Thanks a lot for debunking it Gszabi

Lotta words, honestly not gonna reply to it in detail.
Sum it up with this: Yamato would be a significantly larger step than all of the ships you’re complaining about combined. At 7.0, Yamato would be almost completely invulnerable to at least ~75%-85% of ships it can fight. Hyuga, Mutsu, that battlecruiser, Bayern, and Hood were not that strong on release. No, I’m not acknowledging Scharnhorst, that’s a huge outlier that even Gaijin seems to realize was a mistake.

Gaijin is clearly making some attempt at moving things forward before adding the likes of Yamato, we know they have models for the ships in-between where we are and where they want to be (look at the Japanese battlecruiser from two patches ago, a bunch of its model is ripped from post-rebuild Nagato).
Unless Sovetsky Soyuz is added at the same time, Yamato is not coming this patch or even the first half of 2025.

Feel free to make a suggestion report for them. As of right now we have no news on them.

Since we saw some added and then promptly removed texts referring to Su-33 ingame, I will treat it as a credible rumour.

My friend thinks it could be a premium.

I think that makes some sense, my cursory research suggested the basic Su-33 is more or less just an Su-27 with better engines and folding wings, so it could easily be a Rank VIII 13.3 or whatever Premium plane.
