What is the point of shiny vehicles without good gamemode to use them in. The gamemodes has not fundamentally changed since when WT was a solely WW2 game.

We don’t exclude the possibility that RB EC will come back as an event mode. However as we previously mentioned, there are no plans for it to be a permanent mode.
