The role of a second sub tree for Britain to diversify their gameplay options was pretty clear. India was also another nation a lot of people wanted to see represented in game and sadly, they lack a sufficient amount of vehicle compositions across ranks for a full standalone tree. Given they also use several British designs too, Britain was the most logical nation to house them in as the USSR made little sense and would not benefit from many of the vehicles as the British tree would gameplay wise.
