Although those did at least make some sense.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:
Sub-trees aren’t for the nation that has become a sub-tree. They are to give the host nation a band-aid boost instead of fixing/giving the nation its domestic stuff. It’s been this way since ZA and is why sub-trees more often the not are C&P.
I think you are right. Gaijin is aware that many of the vehicles it has added for nations (especially NATO) have many things incorrect about them, but they for reasons don’t seem to take the extra step in looking into their issues and decide to add filler vehicles instead.
For example, SEP and SEPv2’s turret sides verified improvements with values. “Acknowledged” for months, nothing done about it.
Or the Abrams turret ring.
Or Leclerc’s UFP and acceleration.
Or Type 10’s acceleration and steering.
Or Merkava Mk.4’s armor.
Or Challenger 2/3’s LFP spall liners.
Or-
even the Chinese top tank’s spall liners, and many new bugs. the “I have same issue” counts not help at all. many bugs even gets “not a bug”
Or ZTZ99A finally getting its model fixed, and then nerfed to the ground with its base composite armor now performing worse than T-72B (1985). And then Gaijin wonders why the Chinese community is constantly angry.
Gaijin does prefer the “T-Series or Leopard 2 to the TT” bodge over actually fixing native vehicles. Im still 100% convinced the Indian T-90 was meant to augment the CR2s but it ended up not being as good as they had hoped (which is why it was originally at a higher BR than the CR1s)
“NATO tanks cannot be better than Leopard,” and “Eastern block tanks cannot be better than T-80s/T-90s.”
Exactly. That’s what greed is about: wanting more and more, caring less and less about the how.
Its surprising its the Leopard and not the Abrams. I guess its because more nations use the Leopard?
I’m not going to speculate on it too much, but I wouldn’t be surprised if its something along the lines that Russia fought Germany in WW2, and Gaijin wants to make Germany seem more powerful as to make Russia seem more powerful.
Then again if that’s the case, it’s certainly not for Germany Air.
My personal understanding about early Japan sub TT announce and Chinese sun TT leak:
And I think there are great misunderstanding about Chinese player community in forum and Gaijin.
From what I see, the leak said Singapore, and potentially ASEAN. The ASEAN part is not 100% confirmed… But then again, since they add Singapore, which is part of ASEAN, it gives Gaijin precedent to add other ASEAN countries down the line.
There still isn’t justification for just Singapore to be in Chinese tech tree, but it will at the very least be better than what is pretty much all of SEA. But that’s just me giving Gaijin the benefit of the doubt.
Or literally any NATO manpads system.
People practically moved heaven and earth to come up with a massive amount of documents, and yet nothing has meaningfully changed.
20G+ pull on Stingers and Mistrals? Nah you get 13G and 12G instead.
I think it’s more like a balance problem, Gaijin need it at that position in TT/BR so they don’t want to change it.
But still, their lazy in adding more Western SPAA is unacceptable.
or Hellfires having wierd flight paths / doing no damage
Russia shouldn’t have gotten Pantsir. It could’ve gotten Tor-M1 like China did and it wouldn’t have been OP.
