Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Will the A version be added after the F/A-18C?

I don’t know why you think we would know.

Ik…

the only real plan is: give me your money

In that case I’d honestly prefer if they tried to sell us cosmetics such as skins and decorators instead

They are already doing it. They are selling them now at premiums of $70.

I’m going to be honest with y’all, Chinese players are much more interested in receiving accurately-modeled 99A and VT-4A1. I think the majority would in fact not like ASEAN to go to China and want more domestic vehicles. There has been zero comment from Chinese community itself regarding “influencing” Gaijin to give ASEAN to China other than the investor claim, and I believe that even if true, the investor does not has the playerbase’s best interest in mind.

I get that disliking China and everything about it is popular (and for some things I agree with), but let’s not make too many assumptions at this point. I completely disagree with the addition of ASEAN if it is true, and think that Gaijin is just lazy to add Chinese vehicles and model them properly, which I find detestable.

We all know that gaijin always follow the easiest path, we have tens of thousands of bug reports of various vehicles in the game, it is easier to put sub techtree for the nation with vehicles that are already in the game with different skin than to actually fix the problems of the vehicles that are already in the game.

Ok let’s look what nations China can get,

Taiwan (they got)
Loas
Vietnam
Cambodia
Myanmar (Burma)
Bangladesh
Pakistan
The Stan nations
Mongolia
North Korea

Now Let’s see what Japan can get,
South Korea
Thailand
Indonesia
Philippines

That barely 5 and yet out of those 11 nations China could get they decided to steal nations that Japan needs

ASEAN and that 50% nerf in the economy was today’s topic and they just denied the nerf in the economy, this leads me to believe that this is very real

In the leak of the last update they appeared to deny the arrival of the F18 in the game

However, ASEAN seems ready to be sold. The British preferred British vehicles, not South African ones, but now you have British and South African players spending money in WT.

Japan + ASEAN = money

China + ASEAN = a lot, a lot of money

That’s how it works; there’s no other explanation. Additionally, this behavior doesn’t sound strange to us; Gaijin has been exhibiting this conduct for years.

Snail one: “Hey, let’s put a TH-300 in Germany.”
Snail two: “Better the TAM, which is the same crap, but we can sell it to the Argentinians too.”

These kinds of actions have been happening for years. I’m not against Gaijin making money; my problem is that all they care about is money (and the community, only when the money decreases). I’m not in favor of things like giving an F-5 to Japan or a T90 to the UK just to “test” how they sell… It sounds repugnant.

It sounds like an auction of prostitutes: today’s prostitute is Miss Thailand.

Japan should get ASEAN. I’m in complete agreement of that.

Which is completely stupid. If Gaijin thinks this is what China needed they’re completely wrong. They can’t be bothered to do 5 minutes of research on what China has domestically that can be added.

Just annoys me now China can literally get Pakistan and Bangladesh and most people will be happy with that but nope gaijin thinks China suffers more than Japan

gaijin almost always make the wrong choices and often ignore community feedback

Not the first time. The last time there was a boycott, and it seems they have learned nothing from it.

I would be in favor of taking a big att just to fix game problems (which are many).

Is it time to play the same game we did when they announced commonwealth for Britian :P

How many vehicles can China get now?

There wasn’t a boycott; player counts remained the same.
And obviously they haven’t learned from something that didn’t even statistically happen, they learned from feedback and the answer to poor decisions is more feedback.
Prepare well articulated feedback that doesn’t insult.
As an example:
