@Smin1080p_WT Does Gaijin ever consider sending out surveys before implementing controversial additions/changes.
Lots of other games I’ve played over the years have had in-game announcements linking to an external (browser) survey to collect player feedback.
(as lots of players dont come to the fun experience that is the forums to voice their opinion)
I don’t remember this happening for WT
Would it be something Gaijin would consider in light of the leaks that people don’t seem too happy about.
well… Smin denied the economic changes but didn’t deny anything else. It would have made sense to deny the entire list, but he didn’t. This is a very bad sign… outrageous.
None of this would have happened if Gaijin had communicated their plans transparently from the start.
That would be of no use here. The Chinese community outnumbers the rest of the world’s combined- not just in raw numbers, but in terms of effort and coordination.
Just look at bug reports.
Western tank bug reports may get a couple dozen “I have the same issue” clicks and maybe some pale outside support.
Meanwhile, Chinese tank bug reports get 800+ “I have the same issue” clicks and have perfectly coordinated efforts via threads and direct addressing which they lead together towards the highest levels.
We would stand no chance. Unless Chinese players were as disgusted by this idea, at least.
collecting customer feedback isn’t a voting system. Its to gather data on how potential changes would be received (including how it would be received by different regions)
Also the “I have the same issue” button isn’t a voting system on the bug report site. It’s to help verify bugs/issues
Not with Yugoslavia, it wouldn’t. Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, and Ukraine would be cool. Every single East European nation other than Russia in one big tree would very much not.
They don’t have a line, they just tell people there’s a line so they can add whatever they want and say “it’s not crossing the line” when people question it.
I think they do take them into account. I believe ASEAN (or a large part of it) was meant for Japan, but Chinese pressure made them change plans at the last minute, as they tend to improvise. Clearly, these Asian vehicles are already ready, and the only explanation is that Chinese players overpowered the Japanese fans and took Asia.
But let’s assume it’s accurate. Are you saying because the popular opinion doesn’t align with your wishes/the wishes of a minority community that feedback shouldn’t be collected?
Gaijin’s interest here is money after all, like any company’s.
If they perceive that they will get more money by putting these nations on China compared to Japan… it is unlikely anything would change their mind.
I mean, money is literally the only reason why they could possibly be adding them to China instead of Japan…
Since it doesn’t make sense geopolitically, socially, militarily, historically, logically or gameplay wise. The only possible explanation to this is money.
I am still hoping the leaker messed up and got confused.
I myself am a Japan main, I am extremely discouraged with the situation of the game and with this now with ASEAN going to China, I am simply extremely disappointed with what the gaijin is doing.
