Except the only official statement from Gaijin is Japan gets ASEAN, which was deleted by the person who typed it cause they knew they shouldn’t have posted it.

I can only hope so. (Please gaijin don’t nuke this). Without getting too political, gaijin seems to have not learned that the community is politically sensitive, and pretty much annexing ASEAN countries to the Chinese tree in-game with the current geopolitical tensions is in really bad tastes and horrible PR

they the rumours are untrue and should propably reveal what subtrees are planned for japan
A lot of people would be relieved /satisfied hearing that japan is supposed to get Asean as a sub tree.
like the russian forum mod leak accidentaly pointed to and which the whole community supports and loves.
The current situation seems like a huge mess with nobody being satisfied

I don’t know why or how Gaijin intends to fit ASEAN in a tree that already has the PRC, ROC, North Korea, and Pakistan. It doesn’t make sense, especially since Singapore would be much better served in Japan for example. It’s a really horrible move on all fronts and I hope they rethink it.
