Yeah, just like Japan could get a lot of unique stuff from itself.
Just like Italy can get loads of unique Romanian and Hungarian stuff.
Just like Taiwan could get loads of unique stuff.
Just like Finland getting loads of unique stuff as premiums, event or battlepass.
So why do you think that TT would be unique if the current ones are all C&P from US and mainly RU.
I can see why they would do that. But I can also see why players would get mad.
From my experience, its taken 2.5 years and ~1600 hours and probably $500+ to have (almost) the entire German Tree. This is premium tank, premium account.
I get that Gaijin want players to play other countries, but at this point its unfeasible. Speaking for myself, and most likely others in my same boat (Not "Hard-Core, 1000 Day login, Plays everyday (But still enjoys the game most every day)) that I won’t grind another tech tree once I have one. I simply don’t have the time/drive to do that anymore. Its taken so long to get one I dont have another tree in me.
So this alienates a portion of the community (i have no idea how much) but it makes newcomers to the game more willing to spend money.
So its a toss up.
They dont want players to play other nations. If they did, they would give nations like Japan, Italy and Sweden way more vehicles then just 2 boats, 1 plane and 1 premium tank per update.
I’d absolutely say they want players to play more than one nation. Its just with the current implementation of the game, the amount of time it takes to get them is a lot. They WANT you to buy premiums for multiple nations and then grind them out, which is why they add what they add when they add. The idea is not to make the game EASY to grind, its Pay-To-Progress. If they did, they would lose money and the game would stop. The idea is to keep a balance between Maximizing the amount of money they take in vs. the amount of work players are WILLING to put in (without making them quit). They might add premiums/vehicles to specific trees SPECIFICALLY to get players to move towards that one. Its all meticulously planned. its not random. They know exactly what they are doing and for over a decade now, its working.
Once a player REALIZES what they are in for, like me, they (probably) tend to stick to one nation, wherein lies the problem.
