The A-3/R1 was fitted with the DB606 (coupled DB601) rather than the DB610 (DB605). So you also need to factor in engine and flight performance differences.
The changes may be small but they add up. Compared to simply adding racks and missiles that could be used by other aircraft types it seems overkill.
But if more A-3 sub-variants are added to the game later then the investment pays off, especially if one is a premium. A slightly worse baseline A-3 bomber at 6.0 might be a decent start.
Still sitting here patently waiting for the AZON(VB-1 & -2, mounted on either a 1000lb or 2000lb bomb body respectively), RAZON (VB-3 & -4, similar to the AZON but also has control over the down range axis) or VB-13, for various Bombers as a counterpart to the Fritz-X ( has been 32, going on 33 updates now; The Fritz-X was added June 2018 in 1.77 “Advancing Storm”).
DB 606 had 2700 hp for take-off and the DB 610 had 2950 hp for take-off, but the DB 610 had much better high-altitude performance, I think.
The power curves were certainly different and there are probably graphs available somewhere online for detailed comparison. The result would be slightly different performance figures.
All this is assuming the in game modelling are correct. Wouldn’t be the first vehicle to have the wrong engine version on introduction if it came with 610s (some A-3 did have them, just not the R1 according to everything I’ve seen)
From what I heard that, unlike other soviet modifications on lend-leased or seized ships, the murmansk happened to be one of the few that didnt employ much soviet weaponry.

Currently, Israel has got NOTHING going for them. Maybe their only strength could be incredible anti-air capabilities, making up for all these years without any at all.
That way, when Israel is on your team, at least you would think: “at least they got good SPAAs”, rather than just “ew, they bring nothing to my team”, hahah.

I assume, that instead of “Fritz X” bombs, it will have a “Henschel Hs 293” guided missile and dumb bombs/torpedoes. A similar aircraft is in the Japanese research branch “Ki-48-II otsu”…
If a weaker He-177 was the goal, they should have just gone for a B-Series

This conventional 4 engine (DB 603) layout (first named A-8, later B-5) was designed because of the engine trouble with the interlinked units. They built 3 prototypes in Vienna (planning to include a twin tail, though i have seen no evidence that such a plane was built). Plans seemingly survived in the Firmenarchiv Ernst Heinkel Flugzeugwerke

The B would need even more investment to get in the game. An A-3 bomber would effective be the R1 minus what make that worth adding.
I actually expect the B model to make an appearance eventually, maybe as a 177, maybe a 274 (a boost for the French?) . Who knows where it could lead, possibly in the long term when paper projects become more acceptable a 277…

As long as vehicles were part of the wider table of equipment (and were’nt one-offs), and thus had infrastructure in place I would be fine with that. Keep in mind this logic would lead to Germany getting all of its captured equipment (panhard’s and B1s etc., or all of the east-german stuff that was (pro forma) introduced into the Bundeswehr)

I still wont play Germany, but it would be cool to have stuff like EB-specific modification of soviet designs. T-55AM2B for example, however not the MERIDA. The BMP-1 SP-1, which was a missile-less BMP-1 should also be introduced, as the Pbv 501 was ex-DDR BMP-1A1s, so it only makes sense for Germany to get them as well.
