Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

SU-27M should have already come, and needs to come to gap the disparity between eastern and western radars without adding AESA/PESA radars.

If only it didn’t have python 5s

SU-27M would be such a cool aircraft to see alongside the MiG-29M

personally hoping for the EFT in December, tbh best case scenario is the December update is euro canard update

Don’t expect it, since we know Germany is getting the Hornet.

Wasn’t that one kind of guessed?
@Deathmisser ?

If the December update were to bring the EF-2000 I could definitely see the following to bring balance:

SU-30SM
SU-30SM2
SU-35S/BM

F-15C (AN/APG-63(V)3)

Rafale-M/C

J-15
J-16

F-2

The Su-30SM2, Su-35S, and J-16 are significantly better than early Typhoons.

Britain and Italy already have a fourth gen Fox-3 carrier, though.

Still is an AESA capable aircraft with access to the AIM-120C-5/7

It just mainly depends how they model AESA radars and their capabilities compared to PESA radars

No Typhoon until the T3 or 4, I can’t remember which one, has an AESA radar, and the AIM-120C-5 was only used on T2 bl 10’s onward.

Can someone send the other leak too? Plot twist: Those two fake ones were the real leaks!

There has only been one real one, and it’s not even for the next update.

I apologize, you are correct, but even still the CAPTOR radar, AIM-120C-5s, and AIM-132s are very advanced, and should be added with the SU-30SM, J-15, and updated F-15s

I’m not expecting ASRAAMs and IRIS-Ts to come until T3s, with T2s having AIM-9L/I-1/M’s and AIM-120C-5.

I can’t find any of the Tranche 1s or 2s that use any variant of the AIM-9

You should easily be able to, especially since the T1 didn’t use ASRAAMs/IRIS-Ts, to my knowledge.

The “Typhoon T.1 - 2006, Tranche 1” from what I see doesn’t look like it uses the AIM-9 and only ASRAAMs, but I could be wrong.
