Yes, it was. 99% if our additions in the past 2 years have originated from Jutland era. We have yet to get a single WW2 BC/BB Our most modern ship is Renown from the 1920s if im not mistaken.
US has 5 BBs from 1940s. Despite the fact the RN was far far stronger than the US navy up until the end of WW2. Its kinda stupid we are so badly handicapped

(though we dont even have the refits we just have the original WW1 versions)

Nor is Hood or Renown, they are both Post-WW1 battlecruisers (with AA refits from WW2)
So you have 4x WW1 battleships refits from WW2. and 1x WW2 BC

I was just looking at Rank 6 rather than 7.0s. But yes. We got our first 7.0 2 years ago and since then, our other 2x 7.0s have come from events

The said 7.0 is not even the best. I would assume it is better than stuff like conte or kronstadt since i never saw them in actual gameplay, but not much else.
i would have acepted barham more if it had the supercharge shells as i belive the QE’s used them when they did not have the turret elevation upgraded
Hood was one of the worst top tier BC in game. The shell dispersal was (and still is, but not quite as bad these days) insane and our shells did bugger all despite being 15" guns. Kronstadt and Scharnhorsts guns just shreaded Hood with ease. There really wasnt anything you could do vs them. Kronstadts HEs would reliably one shot everything.
These days… Hoods shells do much better damage. Id still not call it equal to the Scharnhorst because its entirely RnG. But at least you can now fight back. But still feels like an uptier sometimes.
That’s a riley question. But I dont know what to make of Barham. I’ve not played much of it yet, but its okay… But feels old and slow. Feels like it should have a walking stick and a blue badge

Could be worse. Could have been a good QE coming as event and a bad one on the TT

i am realy hoping for a late war vailient having the better secondarys from renown and an insane amount of 40MM’s which would only be topped by some of the kgv’s for anit air for britain

I’d prefer we didnt just get a spam of nothing but WW2 refits that were nearly identical to each other over the course of the next 2-3 years.
Im really hoping we get some more modern ships sooner rather than later like HMS King George V or HMS Vanguard.
Heck, maybe even HMS Rodney/Nelson maybe soon-ish
Out of the QE class, I want these two the most if I’m able to be honest.
