I get what you mean but the IRL gap for Germany was so big that even in game it cant be surpassed by half measures as there’s literally nothing to add between 3rd gen F-4 and 4++ gen EFT.
Of course we can argue about evaluated and trialed vehicles or Swiss F/A-18C but in the first two cases these vehicles arent really valid additions and simply dont fit the German techtree. Also we have to remember that this gap-situation isnt exclusive to Germany and many different nations suffered the same problem thru the years.
Bit of a different case as all Maverics use the same software and dont require additional wiring or FCS updates between models. For Swiss F/A-18C it might be a bit tricky since some sources say the wiring for most of A2G munitions got removed. If thats not the case feel free to get your awaited CAS.
Honestly there is sources for both.
As example swiss cockpits pictures cleaely show all controlls and features etc for cas.
It realy is just a decision of what gajin wants to do.

don’t think so. F/A-18 will possibly come with ARH, to satisfying top players, it’s kind too late to bring the SARH version. unless gaijin give 2 at same time
