I’m talking about something that was mined, not a current feature. Forgot what it exactly was but was something along the lines of squadron key bind commands that clearly hinted at carrier gameplay.

Here’s my hot take on a needed Naval change:
7.0 is fine as the top BR for Bluewater, the problem is actually the bottom of the BR curve.
First, give Coastal boats something else to do other than zone caps. Have there be AI minefields to clear or coastal defenses like Franz Josef Land but on every map in the coastal areas.
Then move the Reserve destroyers to 1.0 instead of 3.3. With six new BR steps, bluewater would be decompressed effectively and Coastal would have something to do.
Plus by making this change the most problematic Coastal vessels can actually go up in BR (looking at you SKR-7)

This is a good point. There should be something like AI targets in ARB that provides something for certain ship types to do, offers less reward but more consistent than fighting goliath(at least david has his sling).

Do we know the specific variant? This looks like a G but I cannot be certain.
Britain 3.7 is unironically pretty good, not needing but could be better :P.
So I looked through the page(s), and it states its a Mark IV “Special”, so I looked up the Special part and it indicates it’s just a Pz IV with the long barrel 75, so its either an F2 or a G variant.
Going off of this image, i think you’re correct in saying its a G.
The barrel is the giveaway in this.
But at this point with the Ram Mk II finally being added to Britain, might as well just make it a Canadian Premium update lmao

Aren’t F2 and G literally the same thing? Just F2 being the designation used until the G came out to differentiate it form the short barrel F variants?
From what I could find, yeah you’re technically correct.
The F2 became the G, but Gaijin decided to have the F2 as its own separate tank and had the G as something else.
The Pz IV G ingame is just the upgraded version of the F2 (its still the same tank)
The G is just the F2 but with:
_30mm steel plate welded to the glacis (going from 50mm to 80mm overall compared)
_F2’s ball-shaped muzzle brake was replaced with the double-chambered muzzle brake.
_different paint scheme due to being operated in North Africa
_ smoke grenade launchers
The very late version of the G included removing the driver’s episcope. A new cupola with thicker armour and a single-piece hatch was introduced together with ‘Schurzen’. The very late models of the Ausf G received a new type of drive sprocket, and the radio antenna was moved to the left hull rear.
So yeah, TLDR: the G is just the upgraded F2, but they’re still the same tank overall.
