Will I get a problem if I replace the file within the sound folder but not the mod folder?

two scenarios really, either something funny happens or your launcher auto-patches it- either way best not to toy with it, who knows what they cooked up with this update in terms of sound

BTR-87 over BTR-90? What a slander.

It is not only Gaijin that does not value underfunded Russian tech from 90s enough. Even fake list people do that

Also ERC-90 is so late that there might not be a tree space for it, and M7 is something that would work IRL but not in game.

I mean no not even, the current one should be called F-35 WDNS, in service both were called F-35, if and when we get the older model it should be called F-35 with the current model being called F-35 WDNS to separate both

I didn’t even read most of these names. I just saw M7 and my cortisol spiked instantly.

ERC 90 might indeed be DOI, especially with the Vextra already being there.

Stug IV being a pack vehicle would be sarcastically hilarious, if it wouldn’t be too low a Rank for Gaijin to ever think it’d be viable as a pack vehicle.

Don’t know enough about the BTR-87 or BTR-90 to make a good quip.

But the F-14 has separate Wing sweep programs that the AoA mode could be used to represent.(Alternate program is best acceleration, other optimizes avaliable AoA) Since it in effect impacts how it is scheduled, also it’s supposed to have manual (pilot) control of the Lift control devices which were changed off the Flaps mechanization and given over to the instructor, which implements them erroneously(occurs where speed & wing sweep should prevent deployment) and so dumps excessive energy even in shallow turns needlessly.

F-14 No control over wing slats

" Not a bug. Same as Su-27, no plans to add this feature.

It always ON in game now, no plans to add additional control for this feature.

Manual flaps extension was added too since aircraft release"

You know I was thinking about it, I wonder if snail will forget Gripen D doesn’t have a gun and will let it play bullet hell lol

yes cause they would just add a button that would cause the plane to crash XD

all the paddle switch does it disable the AUTO pilot for the pitch up and down on the elevators allowing it to pull more AOA at low speeds

you can simulate this in SIM controls in game right now by setting SAS servos controls to manual allows more aoa at cost of speed

heres the manuals input
drop down to number 7 its disables pitch and roll momentarily as long as switch is held

Spoiler

😂 I don’t envy you at all.

I am curious though. I’m aware there’s others, but why does everyone zero in on you and only you every single time?

cause the others dont talk much id assume

Still feel this should be down to the player not the devs. Restricting access to certain features because “reasons” is just frustrating.

from what ive been told by tech mods AOA give you access to the SAS servos in a plane allowing you to disable the auto pilot on them allowing full manual control

i mean its not “just trash”

We are talking about in game conditions and application.

When the “reason” is a button that would cause the average person to crash their aircraft in game, its not simply an arbitrary one.

Not sure I would say people zero in. There are 9 of us CMs in total: Who is who and Reporting Procedure

Obviously each with different areas though of course.

By that logic, should the setting to toggle into full controls be removed too. The average player would also likely crash if they went into full control in the middle of an ARB match
