They kind of needed it. Chinese top tier MBTs were incredibly mid. The M1A2T is one of the only things bailing top tier China ground out.

the ztz99a is a really good mbt with a decent round reload amazing mobility and usable armour so they didnt “need” an abrams
the M1A1SA in my opinion is a much better option its an aussie m1a1 with KEW-A2 therefore wouldnt be the best abrams in the game as that should be on america but hey now china has the best abrams
and i said m1a2 sep v3 for the future and they are good options as neither germany or the uk has a top tier tech tree subtree tank
and this is all personal opinion i dont think china shouldve got an abrams the same way japan didnt get a vt4

It’s too inconsistent to really use. It’s mostly there to bounce badly aimed shots.

australia isnt a subtree it would be single vehicle for the UK to strengthen the top tier lineup as right now all we get is challengers which is arguably the worst top tier tank tied with the ariete

It’s basically the PT-91M, you can tell the difference between the 2 by the fact that the EX has rubber side skirts

To be honest that was a unique variant for Norway, right? If it was then I’d say it would be an interesting addition similar to the Oplot-P (the proper one, not the trial Oplot-M).
Also this could at least a bit make up for that most nations in that tree use very similar sets of aircraft (from top tier perspective), and domestic Swedish aircraft tend to be exported a lot (except Gripen E whis is at least safe until 2029, or sooner if we see Brazil in game before that). This way at least ground can be a more major selling point of the tree as a whole.

Thailand could technically get the Gripen E if gaijin wants to just give it to them. We’ve seen vehicles go to nations even if they aren’t in service.
