I haven’t really played top tier so much, but considering how Germans complain at PLSS being a better Leopard 2 than what they have I assume it does
I don’t play much top tier either, I just wanted to maybe get the better shells on my 122 now in winte when you can do very little other than gaming
Both the 122A and 122B PLSS have the same armor package.
idk about in game but the Wiki sais theres some armor plate in the LFP

Yeah that seems more likely now as that leak list doesn’t have fox3 capable planes for other nations so it would really suck for them
And if there was fox 3 uk wouldn’t get the gripen due to having a domestic fox3 planes

well it could us r77 until they upgraded it to use their domestic missile but early su27 couldn’t use r77 though
In fairness, R-77 is an insanely powerful missile, that isn’t too comparable to AIM120A or B. Russian’s spec’d hard into Fox1s with insane range, so I wouldn’t be too upset seeing early AMRAAM vs Fox 1s like R27ER, especially on a platform like SU27.

or Only on less capable airframes like AV8B and F4F ICE/Tornado CSP

I think pretty much everyone with the stake in the UK tech tree would be furious if they added Tornado AOP/CSP as our “new jet”
No new flight characteristics, no new radar, it would be an actual copy and paste of Tornado F.3 just with marginally more usable missiles on a platform that has to fight F16Cs and MiG29s
I’d be far happier with Sea Harrier FA.2, given the Blue Vixen would be one of the most (if not the most) powerful air to air radars in game, and while it’s still the british steel harrier airframe, AMRAAMs on a platform that accelerates like harrier and is small, would be decent. Not great, but decent.
The absolute best case scenario is we get help from commonwealth nations. If that Esport logo is to be believed, F-18 is coming, which means we can pull from Canadas CF-18 or Australia’s F/A-18
Failing that, we know JAS39C is coming, and we just might get a SAAF Gripen. I personally wouldn’t be too big a fan of this, but I just don’t believe the South African sub tree should be in game in the first place.
That said, I main Britian and i’ll take literally any kind of boost in capability
Due to the leak list being right on the first two new tanks is most likely the gripen we are getting
